Two costs make up weight-loss medication care: the physician visits and the medication itself. TeleSlim Clinic is a cash-pay practice, so our visit fees are simple and published. Here is what to expect if you live in Austin or elsewhere in the Austin metro area and Central Texas.
1. TeleSlim Clinic visit fees

These fees cover physician visits and care. Medication is a separate cost paid at the pharmacy.
Every visit is by video with a Texas-licensed, board-certified physician, Dr. Diala Alatassi.
2. The medication
TeleSlim Clinic does not sell or dispense medication. If a prescription is appropriate, it is sent to the pharmacy you choose, such as H-E-B, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart or Costco. Cash prices for weight-loss medications typically run about $150 to $450 per month depending on the medicine and dose. Manufacturers and pharmacies change prices and programs often, so confirm today’s price with the pharmacy before you fill.

3. Insurance, superbills and HSA/FSA
We do not bill insurance. You can request a superbill and submit it to your insurer for possible reimbursement of the visit fee, which is not guaranteed.
